The game takes its artwork directly from the anime and as such the whole game looks very good (at least for any fan of the anime series). Looking at AoT they have pushed the game mechanics even further, and certainly made it decidedly different (and more fitting the theme) from other games from the same line. As all deck-building games you start with a deck of basic cards and can buy/defeat cards to better the deck and overcome the games enemies (in AoT archenemies in the form of monstrous titans).
